ProPoVedi.Org provides biblical and theological resources for anyone who needs them – to teach in the church, to grow spiritually, or simply because such resources are otherwise hard to find. We publish in Bulgarian rather than English, because Bulgarian believers have so little preaching material available to them.
Free for the Church
We have committed never to charge subscription fees for the material on the site, nor fees for church and non-commercial educational use. ProPoVedi.Org receives no financial support from any denomination, so we depend entirely on donations from those who use the site or share our vision. If these resources bless your own journey or ministry, we would deeply value your support so we can keep them freely available.
Our Vision
ProPoVedi.Org was launched in July 2002 and remains one of Bulgaria’s leading sermon-resource websites. It serves as our teaching desk and our pulpit – a tool for equipping Christian workers for ministry. In the years ahead we long to add many more resources, and we are looking for partners and sponsors to help this ministry grow.
Why Preaching Matters
John Stott captured the power of expository preaching in what has become known as the Langham Logic:
If God wants his people to grow up, which He does, and if they grow by the Word of God, which they do, and if the Word of God comes to us mainly through preaching, which it does – then the logical question to ask is: “What can we do to raise the standards of biblical preaching?” Because then the Word of God will come more effectively to the people of God, and they will grow up to the glory of God Himself.
